Cooper Moore never saw Maggie Williams coming. She was just his best friend’s little sister, the curly-haired, freckle-faced girl from Mississippi who was absolutely off limits. And he never thought about her any other way — not until he saw her that night, broken and brave. Maggie never expected to find her fiancé banging her maid of honor an hour before she was set to walk down the aisle, but life’s funny that way. Chaser comes to us as book 2 of the Bad Habits series.  It can be read as a standalone but I definitely recommend With A Twist first.  Staci Hart knows how to write romantic comedy.

Maggie is new to New York City.  On the heels of being cheated on on her wedding day, she decides to move to be close to her brother and his best friends and get a fresh start with her life.  She's only 22 and has nothing to lose.

Cooper Moore is your typical NYC bachelor/player/heir.  He doesn't take life seriously and doesn't need to.  Everything changes for him when he realizes that his fling with Maggie is so much more than that and will go to great lengths to prove that to her, rules be damned.

"She wasn't a spark. She was a wildfire."

I absolutely adored Maggie and Cooper's story.  Chaser is heartfelt, funny and just a great read.  Maggie and Cooper have a super sexy relationship and it was a quick, light and funny ride to HEA.
