As of tomorrow, I’ll be the new executive assistant at Lorena Lefray Designs. I am SO excited, but there’s one itty bitty problem: I won’t be Lorena’s assistant. I’ll be working for her older brother, Julian.

Google him. Now. He’s the man in the fitted navy suit whose face reminds you that there’s hope yet for this cruel, ugly world. Keep scrolling…Do you see those dimples? Yup. That’s the Julian Lefray I will be reporting to tomorrow morning.

I received a copy of this book just when I needed a good romantic comedy, and as always, R.S. Grey brings it. I haven't laughed so hard while reading in a very long time.
Josephine Keller is a small-town Texas girl new to New York City and trying to get her life started in the fashion industry. Jo is a bit niave but it doesn't stop her from getting out on the scene and going after what she wants. First things first, she needs a job. She's put in her application with Lorena Lefray Designs and gets hired as Lorena's brother Julian's executive assistant.
Julian and Jo hit it off right from the start. They basically become best friends because Jo has no friends or family in NYC. There's an instant attraction but neither try to pursue anything because of their work relationship.
Julian is basically the typical east-coast bachelor. Money, power, and a different girl whenever he wants. There's something special about Jo that he can't turn away from. They have a great friendship, pick up on each others humor and are both beautiful people. Why not see where that spark takes them?
Okay, so I really enjoyed The Allure of Julian Lefray. Rachel Grey knows romantic comedy, and she does it so well! I've been a fan of hers for a bit now and each book just gets better and better. So, if you're in the mood for a light read, lots of laughs and some steamy scenes, pick it up ASAP!
I am a lover of books, chocolate, reality TV, black labs, and cold weather. Seriously, if I had it my way, I would be curled up on the couch with all of those things... everyday.
I live in Texas where I spend my free time writing and reading. My favorite authors include Mindy Kaling & Jonathan Safran Foer. I'm a comedy geek and love all things "funny". Women like Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Mindy Kaling are definitely the biggest inspirations for my writing, though I think my work tends to skew a bit smuttier than theirs.
