Wicked Lust is book two in Sawyer Bennett's Wicked Horse Series. It can be read as a standalone but starts off right where Wicked Fall (Woolf's story) ends.
Cain and Sloane meet at the Wicked Horse nightclub. She's a patron, he's the head of security. He knows what he wants and won't stop until he gets it. Sloane has another motive and needs Caine to get to her end goal.
Sawyer Bennett knows how to write a hot book. Wicked Lust has some of the sexiest scenes I've ever read, and I've read a lot. Her characters have great banter and a great connection.
With that being said, I personally didn't connect well with the characters. Maybe it's my city girl upbringing? I've never been much for a cowboy lover. I did enjoy the story, Sawyer keeps things unique and I'll be sure to read the rest of the series with Rand's book next and then hopefully Bridger which is sure to be scorching!
