I have to say I really enjoyed this story. I was 50% in and had the ominous feeling that something bad was about to happen. Alessandra has a penchant for twists and turns in her stories, and Tight is full of them. I'm rooting for Riley and Brett's relationship, because they both deserve something good in their lives. I'm nervous for them because of the secrets Brett is keeping and Riley's apprehension of it is keeping her from really showing her true feelings to him. This book was hard for me to put down. I'm officially addicted to Alessandra Torre's writing and cannot wait to read more from her extensive collection of novels.

Here’s the deal…

The storyline blew me away. In true Alessandra fashion, she kept me guessing ‘til the very end. BUT, I had a very hard time getting into the story initially. The writing in the first 25% or so, consists of fragments and odd start and stop points in relation to sentence structure. Once I passed that section, I was golden. Tight is hard to put down. Sarah finished before me (as usual) so she had the added bonus of receiving messages from me every hour as I tried to pick apart what was going on. Poor girl. Her response usually consisted of “…” I’ll admit I wasn't kind when I replied.

There were a few small areas where Alessandra wasn't consistent – specifically in relation to where Riley lived. The town seemed to migrate from Just south of the Georgia boarder all the way up to Bibb County, which is in middle Georgia. It’s a tiny fact, but that coupled with my rough start didn’t allow me to give the full five stars I would have liked to.

Stars aside, we both agree that Tight is a book worth reading. Alessandra has the ability to come up with incredibly original story lines, breathing life into her words with such ease. We both look forward to reading more of her work in the future.
