DEEP SURRENDERING: Episode 6 by Chelsea M. Cameron Blog Tour, Review, + Giveaway!

For the first time in their short and rocky relationship, Marisol is having doubts about how to move forward with her relationship with Fin. Will the secrets and the distance finally come between them and end things forever?

With the way Deep Surrendering Episode 5 ended I thought for sure we’d have some major drama unfold at the beginning of Episode 6. Something big and juicy to bite into this time around. *Bzzzt* wrong!

While we’re lead to believe that once again Finn runs for the hills, he doesn’t.

“I want to push you away. Everything in my head is telling me to shut this computer, end the chat, and never contact you again. But I can’t. I should. But I don’t want to. I’d miss you.”

This Finn fellow is such a mess. He’s hot, then cold - in Marisol’s business but doesn’t want her in his. Gah. I’d like to poke him in the eye with my fist. This back and forth pull has to end. Either shit or get off the pot. You can’t keep stringing Marisol along. (Even if she’s currently okay with it.) It’s not nice.

When Chloe and friends start to question Marisol about her relationship with Finn, she takes a moment to really dissect what has been happening outside of the bedroom. Finn wants to get to know everything about her, while she knows very little about him. We aren’t given a true secret this time around. But Finn does allude to more skeletons rattling around in his obviously large walk-in closet. That boy has more baggage than an airport.

If I were to be honest, which I will be, Episode 6 was my least favorite of the bunch. There were no big epiphanies or horrific secrecies revealed. It was slow moving at best. When two lovers are an ocean away these things happen. I’m ready for them to get on with the drama. I want to know what else Finn is hiding, and if Marisol can handle it.
