Five years ago, my dreams were shattered in an instant.
One year ago, a horrible rainstorm flooded a bridge in town, leaving us with an Inn full of stranded travelers. Turns out one of those travelers would give me a whole new set of dreams, ones I never thought possible. Brody Murphy spent the last year teaching me what it was like to live, and more importantly love, again.
Two days ago, he asked me to marry him, and if I’d said yes any faster, I would have interrupted the most romantic proposal ever offered. I can’t wait to marry him and spend the rest of our lives spoiling our Twinkies.
One year from now I’ll be Mrs. Kacie Murphy, assuming everything goes nice and smooth.
About Beth:
Contemporary romance author, Diet Coke addict extraordinaire. Beth Ehemann lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago with her husband and four kids. She's a comma whore, Diet Coke addict, constant daydreamer and lover of all things baseball. (GO CUBS!)
Gah, does everything this
woman touch turn to gold? Seriously, Beth Ehemann, can you just spread a little
of that genius over here. Man...
Do you hear them? Wedding
bells. That’s right! Kacie and Brody are FINALLY tying the knot. It’s about
damn time. Am I right? The two were obviously created to be together. And the
twinkies… Don’t even get me started.
“I still ask myself every day what I did in a previous life to deserve you, and I’m convinced I must have saved a bus full of children and puppies from falling off a cliff onto a senior citizen home or something.”
There is something
extremely sexy about a man who takes on the role of a parent when he doesn’t
have to. When someone chooses to love your children… Yeah, total swoon. Brody
is the total package and then some. He’s
thoughtful, goes out of his way for both Kacie AND the girls, and has their
best interest at heart. He’s what every woman wants in a man. Maybe I should
have my husband read this series… hmm…
The long and the short of
it is that Beth Ehemann is a fucking genius.
There’s no other way to put it. My love for Kacie, Brody, Sophia, Frank,
the twinkies (I could go on and on) has grown with each novel. Beth made me fall in love with this family. She made me love them,
and now their story is coming to a close. I’m sad to see them go, but
oh-so-happy I was able to join them on their journey. Thank you, Beth, for
giving us their story
Now on to Viper (and maybe Zach? Yes? Just say
yes, Beth. You know you wanna.)
Beth Ehemann lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago with her 4 crazy kids and her husband, who’s also a big kid most of the time. She loves reading, photography, martinis and all things Chicago Cubs.
