For the first time since their relationship started, Fin and Marisol are on different pages in the bedroom, but Marisol is determined to make their last few days together count. When we last left Fin and Marisol they were trying out vanilla sex. For most of us that’s nothing, but for Fin it’s everything. That man is so fucked up in the head I’m surprised he can function in society. His father clearly did a number on him. I say father because we’re finally graced with his uptight presence. He were my dad I would have run for the hills long ago. Which brings me to my next throught… Why doesn’t Fin just up and leave? Leave the business, leave the family - just leave.

This was quickly turning from something sensual to something I just wanted to get over with.
He started the deep breathing again. And I felt all my desire to have sex evaporate in the dark room.
“Lilac,” I said, using my safeword.

Marisol is so consumed with Fin that she often forgets about her own happiness. If this were real life I’d smack her. It’s draining. I understand she loves likes him but come on! He needs therapy. And new parents.

At the end of this rather sex romp packed installment, Fin leaves.  He has to appease daddy dearest and travel yet again overseas to do some “business”. What the hell does he do anyway? It seems like daddy has him by the balls. That is one seriously dysfunctional crew. Maybe the entire Herald clan needs therapy. Maybe? Who am I kidding? They most definitely do.

I liked this episode well enough, I’m just ready for some drama. Bring. Me. The. Drama. I’m starting to get tired of the continuous sex with little to no plot. I am all for a steamy hot sex scene, but I need a little something else to justify spending 99 cents on a book, even if it is only a novella.
